Google Docs, A Brief History of Martin Guitars, Chorus Freak

Couple of bits and pieces this evening.

  • To draft these blog posts, I use Google Docs.
  • I made some progress this evening on 072709. Let’s just say I’m having trouble staying away from GarageBand’s effects rack, particularly the chorus. I’m a freaking sucker for chorus. Tune is getting weird, and I hope it gets weirder.

Nice post on the History of Marin. I bought my D-18 in ’97 for not all that much ($750 I believe, used). It’s been very good to me. I actually managed to get rid of the Sharpie guerrilla attack using, naturally, Martin brand guitar polish.

I would wager that hundreds, maybe thousands, of Martin axes have had Sharpie mishaps. Good to know there’s a remedy.
