Ooof. 80 Pages

The issue runs just 80 pages. I’ve been reading since 2000, and the minimum page count for the magazine was always around 120. Things certainly aren’t looking up in that corner of the print media world.
Anyway, one blogworthy item from the magazine: This edition’s “Thoughts on the Business of Life” section, a collection of quotes that always runs at the end of the magazine, has rock and roll for its theme.
- Rock music should be gross: that’s the fun of it. It gets up and drops its trousers. –BRUCE DICKINSON
- Rock ‘n’ roll doesn’t necessarily mean a band. It doesn’t mean a singer, and it doesn’t mean a lyric, really. It’s that question of trying to be immortal.–MALCOLM MCLAREN
- The most brutal, ugly, desperate, vicious form of expression it has been my misfortune to hear. –FRANK SINATRA
