I’m not at all sure how this happened, but I’ve somehow got two SoundCloud user names, with the same login credentials. Weird. Everything seems to be still working, at least.

I found this out because I exported this sort of ugly snippet directly from GarageBand into SoundCloud last night.

Mobile Musical Microblogging

This is Grid #8.

I composed this on the Circulator bus – the red one on the left in the photo above – on my way to work this morning. Then I gave it a listen on the Metro, during my evening commute home, and uploaded it to SoundCloud whilst walking down the street.

Musical Microblogging with SoundGrid and GarageBand

This morning, SoundCloud sent out a tweet touting its integration with SoundGrid, an iPhone app that lets you create music. Well, I got all excited and dropped three bucks for the app. Then on the bus, I fiddled around.

Let’s just say I have a long way to go with all this. Here’s the bus fiddling (the higher pitched noise) with some GarageBand flailing layered on top. I can’t wait until I can start plugging my guitar into the computer again.
